EDIT: Actually, being a hub-centric wheel, it would probably work save for the lug nuts only being held on by a few threads and potentially being lost.

..

Think about it. Add some washers behind the lug nuts, loosen the lug nuts and add some locktite and the trucks efficiency is improved. This wisdom has added the mechanical advantage of the eccentric directly to the drivetrain. Rube Goldberg is alive and well.

That hub is centering it too well to act as an eccentric, we'll have to modify to achieve your dreams and goals, River, LOL.

HARD PASS on this, lol

Besides, 4.5 would be the opposite of this pic. 4.5 using a 5.3 wheel maybe, but not the other way.

Every problem has a solution. Or so I've been told. LOL I remember Rube Goldberg's picture every week in the Sunday Funnies. If you aren't familiar with his work youngster, Look him up. Check this out:

Cut twice, measure once? Sometimes thinking gets in the way of solutions. Don't you think? LOL

Nonsense. It's a saying the assumes the thoughts (thinking) are always good ones. Have you ever dealt with a scorned woman? The road to hell is paved with more than good intentions. LOL
