As of today 77.5 miles on Red. So naturally, I gave him a shake down run. We loaded a trailer with a couple refrigerators, washer, a ton of crap and hauled it all to the dump. Wow, what a power difference. I could tell right away at 60 that there was so much power to spare. Got to the dump and he had 2460 pounds of crap on that trailer. He pulled it well, AND, with the new dual brake booster, slowed that boy down when the traffic stopped for an accident. I'm liking the way this is stacking up. Color me happy, SO FAR.

 

I am happy Red is working so well. My old black truck could dig something serious too. I miss the get up that thing had even with a load behind it. My new truck isn't a slouch but that black truck had the power/size/weight ratio just right.

 

Y'all are making me want to do my gears again!

We just got estimates for about 16K of driveway and rock-scaping work though. :-/

Ohio, I just got quotes to get brick around my curtain wall to hide the cinder blocks and so far ive seen 14k and 17k. I wouldnt be telling the truth if I said that didnt hurt my feelings.
