I'm from Muskegon, grew up in the middle of sand dune. Well sorta, was surrounded by them lol. When we were kids we use to dirt bike about a mile through the dunes to get to Lake Michigan.

Just went to HD to get some CAT5E for the office I am setting up.....

Was hoping they had their Cobalt bits on sale again.... guess I'll check again around Thanksgiving. I got some Titanium impact duty bits though. Anyone try those yet?

Thought your were CAT6 everywhere ?

If you going Cobalt, stick with M42....not 35.

Titanium is good for soft stuff though...like say wood, plastic and aluminum. Aluminum will dull them pretty quick though.

At home I am. Everything I've done at work is also.

This 5E is for an office I am setting up as a side job. It's still good to 1gb. They are going to have a 100mb connection. It'll be good for this project. Oh, and I got these bits to go through thin metal/tin that is used to hold up ceiling tiles. I need to make a couple small holes.

Yea, they'll work for that, black oxide would of been fine. For awhile there it seemed like I was always buying bit sets until I finally went with a good set of M42's. I use those for everything, haven't had to sharpen a bit in a very long time. I've had to hide them dang things in the past and still do out of habit lol.

Oh okay, 5e for your side job ?

I've had some really good luck with the new Milwaukee bits. These are Milwaukee's, so I figured "what the hell". I used the hell out of my Milwaukee Cobalts making brakets and drilling through them when I was doing my basement. Great bits... not sure if they are M42 though.

I've got a small set of those as well, they're black oxide. I like them because they mount right in my 1/4" impact. They are all in the sharpening pile though. I purchased one of those drill doctors years ago, it's still in the box lol. I would like to sharpen those up someday.
