I've seen the IR lights in both the pillar and near the sync screen since day 1 (March 2021). Haven't noticed if or how long they stay on after turning off the truck, though.

I'm not EA, so I'm just sitting here eating popcorn waiting and waiting and waiting for my updates. 😂

Problem is they only put 0.4-0.5 additional miles on the odometer when I picked it up, and the on-ramp to get to the Blue Cruise enabled road is 0.5 miles away. There should have been at a minimum of 2-3 miles put on it. Needless to say, I entered the same highway on-ramp they should have used and viola, no Blue Cruise... Just the standard hands-free adaptive cruise.

I am so ticked off I could spit right now... To all the others that are having these similar issues, please welcome me to the club. And I know others have had it even worse...

The sad part is that it was supposed to take up to 12 hours to apply the patches and I would have had the truck back Friday afternoon inclusive of the 2 recalls (insulation and trailer brake controller) and an oil change. They ran into issues with the BC update and worked on it Friday, Saturday and again today after calling the Ford Hotline for assistance. They were having issues updating the gateway. I was VERY understanding with them and was thanking them for their diligence and efforts. I realize they only have the update process as provided by Ford. Plus I am not the kind of person that starts with the yelling and screaming when something goes wrong. Stuff happens. I raised no stink when it had to stay and got no rental car (they are 134 cars behind for people wanting a rental for service). But when I directly asked about the test drive (twice) and told it was completed, and knowing they get an additional 30 minutes of tech compensation to do the test drive, I am now fuming.

And after all of this, my original issue of the adaptive cruise control not staying turned on between key cycles is still there. I cannot tell that they did anything. Oh, also my speedometer on the right side not longer displays the larger gauge. It is the one with 0 and 120 as the only markings like when nav is active and it is showing turn-by-turn in the center section.

So back we go tomorrow....

Thanks again @Livnitup . I really appreciate your help on this. I will be back to SoCal (near SNA) next week. If you are in the area and I can buy you and the family dinner, I would love to return the favor as a small token of appreciation for all you do for everyone here.
any way you can report to us what your currently installed TRM software version is? If you have the scriptable ford pass widget installed that is.

Ya, no lights were on in the in that upper left corner region from the Sync screen. I thought that was the camera location and didn't have any lights, but given I was only on OTA 2.3.0 and BC had not been enabled, I figured nothing was active yet in there regardless of what it actually there. Stuck out like a sore thumb when I saw them this evening for the first time. So I have the IR lights... Maybe that is supposed to placate me for another 6-8 months... I'll have a bit of a chat with the service manager over this one. Thanks for confirming.

I've been confused for the past 13 months why the cameras are enabled when BC isn't even a faint dream of my truck. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe they'll just shut off whenever BC actually comes to mine. 🙄😉

I have it, but the only info I see in in a new area that gives the module info. First time I have seen this but I haven't used Scriptable much.

I looked through the OTA stuff, but it is not showing me anything in there referencing TRM module or SW update... If I missed something, point me in the general direction in Scriptable and I'll try to see what I can find. The update they did shows a ResourceID of G219218, but I don't think that tells us anything...

Yes, I actually had to download it for the first time. I had not seen that screen before.

ok. Thanks, I appreciate the info. I’m curious to see a later version of the TRM module than yours appear soon. Otherwise it might already contain the latest update for the recall.

Yes, this was just updated last Thursday per the recall, so assuming this is current and accurate info for what is installed verses what was originally installed, it should be the latest and greatest.

I hope so!

is yours a 2021 or 22? Job 1 or Job 2. Your TRM module S/N is only 130 away from mine so I feel it’s from the same batch.
