rugedraw, can you check mine again? It’s at the dealer. They said they updated APIM and transmission but I’m not sure I believe it. thanks again.

They updated the PCM, but not the APIM. They tried to, but when it came to the part where they had to insert the USB drive for the update files, they stopped. Not sure if the tech didn't have or couldn't find his USB, but they did not update the APIM.

Hi rugedraw,
Could you please take a look at:
1FTEW1EP2MKD66603 when you have a chance. I had issue with bad OTA update that broke SYNC4 update - dealer couldn't fix it replaced some modules but I never got any OTA updates after that and based on what I'm reading here I am far behind. thank you

Post a pic of your "About Sync" screen when you can. The APIM they swapped in was not properly programmed when they did it. It seems like maybe they were lucky and the files that got installed into it were right, because it shows they updated it a few times after they installed it. No rush in getting the pic; I can't look into it any further until tomorrow anyway.

Not sure how long it's been but my audio has finally gotten the update to fix the terrible sound and no bass/volume..

Why do they need a usb, if I can do it with a mongoose cable?
