The dealer did not install the new APIM correctly. The data on your truck does not match what is on the server. We can help you fix it, but you would need FDRS. The dealer cannot fix it; at this point would have to open a case with engineering so they can help them fix it.
where can I buy FDRS cable? Do I need license for software too? Is this fairly easy or multi hour job? I’m fairly handy with arduino type / fpga devices.

FDRS software will cost $50 for a 2 day license. If you plan accordingly, that will be enough time to fix the issue and fully update your truck. I would say you need 15+ hours worth of module updates to fully update the truck as far behind as you are. You will also need a good power supply to attach to your battery as the update process puts a strain on the 12v battery. I use a Clore PL2320 and you can find it on Amazon for about $100.
If you decide to take this route, message me when you have everything and I'll help you get every thing fixed and updated.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t VCM2 compatible with FDRS?
That is not the official Rotunda VCM tool dealers use. That is a cheap Chinese knock-off. It may work, or it may brick a module and leave you screwed not being able to recover it. I would not risk it.

You know what’s funny. I wait almost 2 months to get my appointment for updates at the dealer,
nothing pushed to me forever, and the morning I take it into the dealer I get this update, lol. Hard to believe it’s coincidental. It will be interesting to see what they actually update. Do you update all your modules every time an update comes out?

I do, but I have access to FDRS all the time. Most people don't and will only buy a $50 2-day license when something gets released worth doing right away. They just monitor the forums and/or ask for people with access to check their VIN to see what's pending.

Thanks again for your help and support, not only for me, but for the many others you help. It’s very kind of you and karma will reward you, this I am sure. I’ll hit you up once I get my vehicle back to see what was actually done.
I just need someone to run my vin and make sure I’m able to receive updates still. Havent had one in over 1 1/2 months. Just curious if my apim still works and I haven’t had any failed ota’s.1FTFW1E82MFA35915

No OTA's have been sent to you recently. The only codes your truck is reporting is below. The IPMA code with the SSM referenced cites a possible loose connection between that module and the affected camera. That would be a good place to for the dealer to start with that issue.

Can you tell if they did anything today? TIA
