For the last week I've been getting the updated audio notification even though it went thru well over a month ago. Finally got my OBD cable and just thinking of doing the updates myself if I've got some pending.
Yes, I can see that. List of modules with pending updates are below. GWM has a green dot, so that would be the next one in the sequence. Once that gets applied, it will release another APIM or TCU. I don't think you're due another IPC until a bit later in the process.
@rugedraw hey! They spent 2 more days updating and I think I’m finally back to current! That totals to over 30hours of dealer updates. Does it look that way on your end too?
Lucky you. Your truck is on the latest Sync version and you show no modules pending updates. They did everything.

Unlike the guy above, most people have no luck getting the dealer to do the updates because Ford does not pay them labor hours to update modules unless there is a recall that requires it or there is a problem that an update will fix. You can try, but I would prepare to be disappointed.

Yea, that's a phantom update notice and you can ignore it. PTS shows it went through back in May. Modules with pending updates are below. There is enough here to justify spending $50 on an 2 day FDRS license to do them.
Hi @rugedraw. I was hoping you would check my VIN for outstanding updates. I've had the same update pop up on my screen as ready to install about once a week for the last month or so. I suspect, my battery level is low (again) and that it the reason it is not updating. Hopefully that's not the case since Ford replaced my battery under warranty about 6 months ago! My VIN is 1FTEW1EP7NFB83076.
Thx.

Last OTA that was sent to you was a DSP update on 5/11 and nothing since. What you are seeing is a "phantom" update message and you can ignore it. You can try rebooting the APIM by holding down radio power button and forward seek button at the same time until your touchscreen reboots to see if that makes it go away.

Thank-you. Appreciate you checking for me. Damn Ford's software update process is a mess.
Not the sensor - has to be the OTA software change

New forward ACC sensor today, made no difference, as suspected, it's a software issue and still waiting on Ford Engineering software people.
I am also seeing a long list of communication and control faults when I scanned the truck. I reset all that and they all just came back.
I resolved the no cruise control issue with a weird thought process.... I thought to go into the menus and disable all the non-functional features that depend on the forward facing sensor, all the sudden the cruise control set icon appears! So, even though all the features were offline, having them toggled on was interfering with cruise engaging.

That's crazy, man. We are stumped with your case. Looking at vehicle history to see what they did, I can't tell if they calibrated the CCM after they PMI'd it. I am not sure if FORSCan has the ability to calibrate that module; I know you can calibrate the IPMA, so it may be able to do that one. I would try that. You have nothing to lose.

The truck is half working for the first time in a month, I’m not doing anything to it….
It all comes down to that OTA software update, based on the trouble codes, it broke down communication between a few of the modules.
If it was simple the sensor calibration shoulda fixed it. They mentioned something was wrong VIN code, can’t recall the exact details. The problems got worse when they did that
