Received my first ever battery low charge notice in FordPass indicating the truck was in Battery Save Mode and I should take it for a drive.

It's been sitting since my arm surgery on Tue 13 Aug - so, 2 weeks. Never received that notice during international travel for a month in Feb, 3 weeks in Apr, and 2 weeks in Jul. Could there have been an attempted OTA update in the past 2 weeks?

Put my battery charger on it today after a short drive (negative clip not on the neg terminal). It showed current charge as 11.9V, but after a bit it was up to 12.3V, then eventually 12.9V. However, it dropped back down to 12.6V, then 12.2V. I had to disconnect it when it was back up to 12.9V and the charger was quite hot. I also noticed a spark when I initially connected the neg clip after I connected the pos clip, but before plugging in the charger.

I currently have an issue with the bed camera sometimes not working. I noticed today the AutoHold wasn't working.

Any insights?
No OTA's have been sent to you recently. The only codes your truck is reporting is below. The IPMA code with the SSM referenced cites a possible loose connection between that module and the affected camera. That would be a good place to for the dealer to start with that issue.

Battery SoC being reported to the cloud earlier today was 64%. I'd leave the charger on overnight to top it off.

Thanks as always! The bed camera loose connection seems to be somewhat common. Other folks have reported in in a different thread. I had the camera and the module replaced last year for the same issue.

I put the truck back on the charger as you suggested. It showed fully charged by bedtime. Thanks again. As an aside, the AutoHold braking is working again.

Getting ready to make a service appt at local dealer for the malfunctioning bed camera and other codes you showed. I'm one of those very fortunate people whose dealer updated all my modules while correcting a Rear Brake Assist issue and replacing the Bed Camera and associated module. Can I get a listing of all my modules that require updating, if any? I'll ask them to update. The worst response could be 'no we can't' but they might do them like last time if I ask.

I'll share the dealership info here in SWFL with anyone if they pm me. Not sure if it's okay to post that info.

Cheers!

In a successful effort to get some presets back, I did a master reset. Only thing I lost were the Ford Nav saved locations, which really isn't a loss. Sirius came back almost immediately. I got two pages of presets, better than the zero I had (it remembered the presets/favorites but couldn't display them as presets).

Wonder what the future has in store for my set up. I was very behind........

Thanks. Wow - 16 module updates. Wouldn't know it with everything seemingly working okay except the bed camera. Would these normally be OTA updates whenever/if ever possibly sometime in the future?

Pending what the dealership is willing to do, I suppose I could get on your Mongoose list to then update these and update my BC from 1.0 to 1.3?

Default Purchasing 2022 F150, vin check

Checking for my neighbor. They want to purchases a 2022 F150 and I was hoping someone could check the Vin. They are nervous about electric issues and possible bad battery. VIN is “1FTEW1EP3NFA53246”. Anyone have some info on it?

Truck is on the latest Sync version and shows nothing of concern in its warranty history. The modem is not reporting anything right now since there is no Fordpass account connected to it, so I can't check for any codes, but on the surface, the truck seems fine.

I do have an account on the other forum. Used to be very active on it especially since I maintained the tracking spreadsheet and updates for folks in 2022 Build Week 1/24. However, haven't been on it much after everyone took delivery of their trucks following chip holds and delivery delays.
