My truck is now stuck on doing phantom updates.
Got 3 or 4 updates within a week or two and then almost every day for the last week it shows an updated will be installed that night with a 45 minute restriction on use.
When I check the next day it still only shows the last one being from March 21st.

Most likely a phantom update notice. It's been happening a lot lately to many people.

I continue to be puzzled by the Ford OTA system. Seems like it could be much more streamlined and transparent.

Would anyone be able to check and see if I am up to date?

VIN: 1FTFW1ED4MFB98708

Thanks!

Last OTA you got was APIM update 23-PU0724-DOM-RS back in Spetember. Right now, you are waiting for Ford to add your truck to the roll-out plan for the 6.x.x updates. Your truck is fine; just gotta wait your turn for the next batch of updates to be sent.

Can anyone by chance check mine. It appears that the last update it did was June of last year. 1FTFW1E54MKD24629

Thanks so much!

Correct, you got one APIM update after the 4.x.x updates and nothing since. Your truck is fine, though. Many vehicles "stopped" getting updates at that time. You just have to wait for your VIN to be added to the next wave of OTA roll-outs.

But no updates since June of last year while others have received multiple updates since then suggests that, similar to their EV program infrastructure, their infrastructure for OTA updates is sorely lacking. As they continue to add new vehicles to their OTA process, they are going to have to invest more in infrastructure to support them or start dropping vehicles off the OTA roles. My money is on the latter and vehicles will remain stagnant unless owners buy subscriptions such as BlueCruise.

Well, I got the BC subscription "special" and still have 2 updates showing on FRDS waiting to be pushed out to me. I am also now part of the Early Access program, and got an email to join the Ford Pass 5.0 beta... Not sure any of that matters. I think the Ford infrastructure is just woefully lacking and the process around updates isn't well thought out. They are so far behind, they don't know what direction to go. They need to find a way to use AWS to spin up more servers on demand to get people the updates quicker, then spin down once things are at a more level state (if that will ever be the case given circumstances....).

Thanks for checking that... it sucks waiting for updates. I believe the next one fixes my issue of the backup camera button not working anymore. I also have been having a battery drainage issues I was hoping was related.

THANKS again for looking into that for me
