Try the usb again with the manifest in there to see if it works though.
Ok will do, thanks! Interesting that’s it’s been 3 vehicles with the same issue. I’ll try one last time then throwing in the towel and will wait to hear if you get any info out of Ford. If there is a recommended fix I’ll get another 2 day license at that time. It was a productive 48 hours by getting most everything else updated so not a total lost cause. Thanks again!

Same issue, USB in the truck still not reading the flash drive and loading the files. I waited up to 15 minutes and it does nothing. Thanks!
If you license is still active, try one more thing. Click the APIM in the first page of FDRS to bring up all the guided routines you can do on the APIM and look for one called the PMI and run that. When FDRS asks if it is the original module, select no. It will make a USB update again. Before you pop it in, open it up and check to make sure a manifest is there and send me a screenshot of the contents of the fordsoftwareupdate folder. No need to wait for me to respond; you can insert the USB right away after you take the screenshot.

I’ll check to see if the license is still active. It says it’s valid until 10/7 but not sure what their cut off time is. If it’s still active I’ll run home during lunch and give it a go. Will keep you posted and thank you!

@rugedraw The license had expired before I was able to try your suggestion. I can renew whenever but thought I might give it a day or so as I know you are doing some digging with Ford.

There are 3 other trucks with the same issue yours has getting stuck on the exact same APIM update. This is not a coincidence. Save your money. If you don't have an account there, get one please. It is easier to manage this for me all in one place and I am there more than here. That thread is specific to FDRS related issues.

Thanks and will do, I’ll set up an account and pick up on the thread linked above.
@F150LariatMan Got your message, but responding here for the sake of the info being out there. It is an OTA called 6.7.0 (which is strange), but it is for the IPC and not the frunk module like the Mach E and Lightnings.
Release notes say:
Group ID 1 - Software Update - 6.7.0*Smoother Updates Ahead* • This update prepares your vehicle for future enhancements, helping your system handle new features with ease.**
After multiple failed attempts (it called them interruptions), this package finally installed last night.
