With BC, there is one more power-up update after 6.8.0. It used to be 6.13.0, but that update was messing BC up for people so it was stopped and replaced with PU update CMR-FX.
I just don’t understand why when I manually go into the system it says I’m all up-to-date when there’s at least two more updates available past the one I’m on.
I understand that for the auto update feature it Hass to go in a sequence because they can’t possibly update everyone’s vehicle at once but when I go in manually check, it should at least tell me that I have updates instead of saying I’m all up-to-date.
there’s no way to force into sending you an update that’s needed either. You just have to wait around until it happens one day… maybe.

It says up to date because there is no active OTA trigger at the time for the vehicle. That's just how it works.
No, there is no way to force the server to queue up an update for a vehicle.
Those 1am updates happen as the update needs the vehicle off, doors locked, happy battery, etc etc. Many other updates can happen while you are in motion.
Sorry if my question looks stupid and/or has already been answered, but the situation looks kind of weird to me.
My 2023 F150 Lariat frequently (once a week or even less) displays this icon:
When I check the updates status, it always says
Next day the update status always shows exactly the same, every time:
The app shows that last update was received back in December of 2023.
Is this behavior normal? If not, can I do anything to clear the clog?
These phantom update messages have been reported a lot within the string of the 6.x.x updates. If you got that OTA already, you can ignore that. You can try resetting the APIM to see if it goes away. Turn the truck on and let the touchscreen fully boot up. Hold down the radio power button and forward seek buttons together until the touchscreen reboots. If that does not clear the message, then just ignore it. When the next OTA gets sent to you, it will clear that out.

These aren't mobile phones. Updates don't work the same way.
Update: Now I have the "Trailer Module/quick turn signals" issue, so I made an appointment to address that as well as the failed APIM update.
Although this truck has never stranded me, I'm glad I don't have to depend on this for everyday use.
Fingers crossed.
Rugedraw, I took the truck in 2 days ago. They now say they are waiting on parts etc. Can you look at the work record and see what it shows specifically?
It's not that black and white. Cell phones are designed completely in house. Ford and every other manufacturer (aside Tesla) are legacy brands that source their modules from several different vendors. When an update is finished by Ford, it has to go through the manufacturer of the module and back to Ford before it can be added to the OTA roll out process.

They haven't done anything yet. I see several serial numbers for different APIMs on Ford side for your truck and I see that I have looked it up before. Refresh my memory: What's going on with your truck? It's simply too many cases on several forums for me to remember them all.
