cool. So if it shows the updates available when someone looks up my VIN it would be safe to say it’s been through that process and should show available to me. Not show “up to date”.

Correct. However, the truck will always say "up to date" if there is not an active OTA trigger for the vehicle at the time you check for updates. Once you do get an update and you check again, it will tell you you are rolling with the latest and show the OTA you got even if it is not the latest OTA available.....it refers to the latest you have received.

Which is why many people have just bought a mongoose and got rid of the dependancy on the OTA process.

Let me know if you want to be added to the waiting list. I have 2 Mongooses and will soon have a total of 4 as another member on that forum who does the same thing I do is leaving the country for 4-5 months and will be sending me his Mongooses so I can add them to my rotation and get to people faster.

2021 XLT PB. Never got an update. They had it 5 months May to October last year trying to get an APIM to work and then update, which they finally did.
Then the next update (December) that tried to load crashed during install. Took it in again this week to fix that.
Also, I had the Trailer system error with the hyperflash turn signals.
