So my software hasn't updated since May '23. Is there anything worthwhile in the OTA updates in the past year? Truck operates just fine. I'd hate to spend $550 on a Mongoose, and $150 for a 2 days license for ford software just to make the update number go up a few digits.

I would need your VIN to see what you have and what you're missing. The 2-day license is $50, not $150 btw.
I found online that it started rolling out in December. The only mention of it in this thread has been edited out though. But yeah, my comfort and control have been enhanced.
If you don't have an account there, I can add you and let you know when I get to you. Waiting list is maybe 6-8 weeks out at this time. There are other people on that thread that loan theirs that may be able to get to you sooner if you are in a rush to do what you gotta do.

Have you noticed any difference? Ford update mechanism is terrible and the release notes... God help us...
I recently purchased a 2021 Platinum PowerBoost and have had issues getting it to update. First, it wouldn't show a version at all. Dealer replaced the APIM, and now it shows SYNC version 21146_PRODUCT Revision: 145. I've been reading and trying to figure out a way to force an update, but the truck and app both say the truck is up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like they did it right. Post a pic of the entire "about sync" screen so I can check that the serial number matches up with what Ford has on their side. The only thing I see they did not do was a network scan after the APIM swap to force sync your truck with the servers. You were already sent an OTA on 2/16 that failed because the update package contained software your APIM already has. You are now getting updates sent, so that is a good sign. However, it can take days, weeks or months for your truck to sync up to the server by itself, so it can take a while before you are sent the correct update. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, I would ask them to do a network scan with FDRS. It will literally take them minutes to do and your truck will be synced up right away.
