Serial matches up.....everything looks good on the surface. Because you were sent an OTA, the server's interrogator most likely polled the APIM and hopefully the failed OTA synced your truck up with the server so you get the right update the next time you are sent one. Now it is just a matter of waiting. It wait take a looooooong time for the OTA process to get you caught up. Now that you are out of the broken software, I would recommend you look into FDRS and a Mongoose cable and updating the truck yourself.

Knock on wood I haven't had any problems getting updates ever since the dealer updated a slew of modules more than a year ago. I received 6.8.0 on Jan 23rd. I just got back to the Sunshine State on Sunday after being out of the country for more than a month. After I started the truck for the first time I received a notice about an update that would take the usual 16 minutes at my next update time (1am everyday). However, it has rescheduled three times. I tried to "Update Now" following the instructions on the screen where update would start in two minutes. Looks like it just failed again because "certain precondition(s) were not met." Any insights?

I have a 2022 Job 1 King Ranch PowerBoost

OTA is failing due to poor battery stats:

Capacity is low at 61 out of 80 and charge is low at 59 out of 100. Charge up your battery and try again. Or take the truck for a nice 20-30 minute drive, and check for updates and try installing it manually while your battery is charged after driving the truck.

When that one installs, you have another one in your queue waiting for that one to install for the next one to go through.

Can I get added to the WTF is going wrong with my updates list? It would be super appreciated. I believe I’m only revision 489? Which doesn’t make sense to me… VIN is 1FTFW1ED9MFB87400.

First time that's occurred. Guess that's what happens when the truck sits for more than a month. I guess if I'm travelling that long again I should put it on a trickle charger/maintainer.

Your truck is behind. Last OTA it was sent was 3.5.3 back in August but it failed because nobody turned on the trick while the OTA trigger was active so it expired. Did you recently buy this truck?

They didn't do anything and there is nothing to fix. They tried to to a module repair on your APIM which the truck rejected because it didn't need it. They tried to perform a TSB designed for trucks on software older than yours where trucks don't get updates at all, but your truck shows OTA history. I would ask for a different tech the next time you take your truck there before they break something that isn't broken. The next update will give you full-screen carplay/android auto capability.

What should I ask for exactly brother? They were super nice and did their best to help (truthfully the only good dealer in the area). I bet if I tell them what you say they’ll do it!
