Also thank you for your help!
All they need to do is update your APIM the regular way. Once they do that, they need to do another network scan and it will release a TCU update. If they can do those two for you, it will be the same as updates 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 and then your truck will get the rest of the updates eventually. Your truck is far behind and you need over 10 hours of continuous updates to be fully up to date. As nice as they may be, I doubt they will do that.

im guessing there is no way to force these updates without having them do the APIM update and TCU update?

You would need a $540 Mongoose VCI cable, a windows laptop, and paid access to Ford's FDRS software. There is not other way to "force" these updates.

Last OTA you got was 6.1.0 but you are on the latest Sync version and are only showing a DSP update. I am assuming you or a dealer updated the truck recently?

Yes. I paid the $50 about a month ago for a 2day license and did some updates. Didnt want to shell it out again just to check. Appreciate the quick response. Thanks!

When that one installs, you have another one in your queue waiting for that one to install for the next one to go through.
That worked! Put the truck on my trickle charger/maintainer about 5pm - hooking the negative as shown in the video some posts earlier. It was initially showing 12.4V and when I checked it a few hours later it had dropped to 12.3V. Nevertheless, the update finally installed successfully at 1am.

Thanks again for everything you do!🫡🍻

I just disconnected the battery charger from the truck. I was surprised to see it was still only showing 12.3V. This is the first time I've used a charger on the truck (first time it was parked for more than a month since I took delivery). Granted it's only a trickle charger/maintainer with a max charging rate of 3.8A.

Can my vin be checked again to see the state of the battery? VIN 1FTFW1CD7NFA02183

Thanks!

I cannot see the battery stats in real time; only when an OTA reports it to the cloud. You had one update install yesterday and have an ACM update in your queue not. Files are downloaded and it is ready to install just waiting for your auto updates schedule. This is what it reported to the cloud when it finished downloading:

"groupId":"1""totalLvBatteryCapacity":"65""current LvBatterySoc":"77""availableLvBatteryCapacity":"50 699"

Capacity is good, but charge is a little low at 77%. Go to your truck and check for updates and manually try to install it to see if it goes through.
