Actually this is the update that reflashes the ECU and wiped out the custom tunes a lot of us were using, I have only seen reports of this update being pushed in the last week.
You have APIM update 4.3.6 sitting in your queue right now. Start the truck, check for updates manually and let it run for 5-10 minutes. That should be enough to get it to install.
I have driven the truck several times in the last day and have manually checked for updates. Nothing now shows as ready to install or has installed recently via the truck's screen. Maybe I missed the window.
The last OTA you got was 3.5.2 in May of this year. The next update you are due is the one that gives you full-screen carplay/android auto. You are pretty far behind. I do not know why your tuck has not been sent any updates, but there is nothing wrong with your truck. The problem is with Ford's crappy OTA process. You service advisor is most likely clueless about the OTA issues these newer Ford's go through. Also, Ford does not pay dealers to perform module updates, so the dealer won't do it because nobody likes to work for free. You have to either continue to wait, or invest in the tools needed to update the truck yourself. You can try and get your dealer to do it, but very few have had success with that.
Thanks rugedraw. No more updates yet as of May 10th, so I took the plunge with a Mongoose cable and will attempt with FDRS. Sorry to ask, a repetitive question, but is there a certain order of modules to update, and if so, do you update all of that one type before moving to the next? Thanks

Update GWM, APIM, TCU and IPC in that order as they appear. If you have more than one of those showing at a time, go by the order I typed them in.
The PSCM and IPMA module updates are tied to each other and the IPMA takes 3 hours. Do not start either one of those unless you have the time to see them through.
OTA history shows a few updates there, and IPC update 6.8.0 was sent to you twice but failed both times. The list below shows modules pending updates on your truck, but this list does not show any pending APIM, GWM, TCU or IPC updates, so there are more pending updates than what this shows.
Rugedraw
THANK YOU. Anything I can do to get the updates?
