So if I turn on auto updates without scheduling the ones that disables my truck when they download am I likely to have problems ?

If an update will cause a problem, it will 99.9% be one of the ones that require the vehicle to be inhibited. Having auto-updates off will prevent those from installing, but it will not prevent updates that DO NOT require the vehicle to be inhibited from installing as I showed you in the screenshot of your OTA dashboard.

if you plan on leaving auto-updates on, you may get a prompt asking you if you want to allow an update to be installed. If you leave it off and you get that prompt, that is what I am looking for. I am looking for confirmation that the newer OTA's will ask for permission to install if you have auto-updates turned off. That has never been the case until now (supposedly). The rest of the updates you are missing (6.5.0, 6.8.0 and 6.13.0) all require the vehicle to be inhibited so if you do not turn auto updates on, you will not get any of those when they are sent to you. It is up to you if you want to leave it off or not.

@rugedraw I noticed late this evening that I had both new IPMA and PSCM updates populating for my VIN in FDRS. I plan on doing these updates after work tomorrow, but wanted to know if you had any insight on these possibly being related to a BC upgrade or is this a fix for the issue outlined in SSM 52078?

I do not, but this is the second F150 today that is showing an IPMA update. I saw the SSM too, but idk if it's a blanket cover for the DTC outlined in 52078 or if it is indeed a step toward the newer BC. Updating the IPMA via OTA or FDRS is painful, so I would like to think the IPMA update would include more than a fix to an SCCM update. Sounds to me like the recent SCCM update that was released (OTA 6.5.0) maybe triggered a code that the IPMA update in 7.0.0 will clear out. On the MME's that got 7.0.0 with BC 1.4, the PSCM, IPMA, CMR and CCM all got updated in one OTA.

Very curious as to what these updates do. Lmk, please.

Is your BC still active or did it expire 12/31?

I am going to go ahead and get this update started while working (I have 2 computers and VCM3s) and will report back when it finishes (started at 12:31pm, unknown how long it will take so I don't want to stay too late after work doing it if at all possible)

Other 2023 trucks have reported an IPMA update showing. Jesse confirmed that this IPMA update is the missing link for BC 1.4. You will be amongst the first to have it once you apply the updates.

@over2000lbs If you get to try BC on the way home, let me know how the predictive speed feature works. I have BC 1.3 on my truck now and it is not good at all. It erratically and aggressively reduces speed when not needed. The lane change assist works great and it is much better at keeping you centered in the lane and not disengaging as often as BC 1.0. I am really hoping they fixed the predictive speed feature with 1.4.

Well it didn't take nearly as long as I thought it was going to be!!

IPMA started at 12:31p and finished at 1:15p
PSCM started at 1:17p finished at 1:20p

Fingers crossed , I'm about to go drive it to see it in action
