really?! That’s what everyone was recommending before to try and force new updates to come through, might save me some time if it doesn’t do anything 😂

 

It doesn't hurt to do it, but I think it's a placebo effect. People are getting that from a YouTube video that has been going around for a bit.

Got the new APIM installed today. Still no full screen Apple car play. Should I have had it all from the start? Or will it start to update now? Vin: 1FTFW1RG3MFC28012

As long as they did everything right, you will start getting updates. I'll check it out tomorrow from work.

 

@rugedraw I have information that may be possibly correlated with BC 1.3 coming to fruition. I had a CMR module update that popped up on FDRS for my truck on 11/14 that I did (23 F150 platinum)


I also had PCM , DDM and PDM updates as well that I did. But that CMR update really caught my eye .

 

I see the ran the config program for the new APIM, but they did not PMI it. I am not sure if it was done correctly. When you can, send me a pic pf the entire "about sync" screen in your touchscreen settings so I can ask Jesse to check if it is properly configured to your truck.

I am aware of a recently released CMR update; only 2023 trucks are showing it. There is a new IPC update a few people have reported, too. I was also excited thinking they may have something to do with BC 1.3, but when I asked Jesse to look at the files, there is nothing BC 1.3 related in any of those updated. Unfortunately.
