Software Updates
Do we know if this update is still going out?
I just got the 24-pu0223-vi-rbs update about a week ago, but I turned off my auto updates to avoid getting the bad audio update.
I'd like to turn them back on but if the bad audio is still going out I'll hold off.

From my understanding, it is no longer being pushed out.
From my perspective, it says a lot about their software development and verification process when they push out software patches without fulling understanding the impact of the patch. It seems like our trucks are being used for their beta testing. I suppose the story could be that with so many feature options there are so many trucks in the field with different variations of software that it isn't practical for them to try the software updates in all configurations before rolling it out so our trucks have to be their beta testing.

Considering the uselessness of the "release notes" (if you're willing to call them that), I'm not impressed with the public view of their roll-out process. Their PR department is failing on the job. That does not mean they don't test as well as any other large organization. We really don't know. Those who do know are covered by NDAs and can't say; those who aren't covered by a NDAs don't have a clue and are just making useless noise.
They do have a beta program. I am enrolled but don't receive specific notification about receiving test versions if, indeed, I actually have received one. I did get a survey recently which sounded like they were testing an update, but it didn't specifically say "this went only to beta testers".
