Yes, 4.3.4. I’ve tried the 8 amp battery charger. After 6 or 8 failures my dealer who I trust had the truck for a couple of days and provided me with a free rental while I had my max tow axles replaced and checked the battery, charging system and hardware and all checked out. I drove the truck 1200 miles in 5 days, had truck set to update approximately 5 hours after driving for 5 hours and it failed. I assume due to low SOC as previous failures. Maybe resetting the BMS like you recommend might make the difference.

Just checked your VIN, and it is failing due to low SOC. See the last attempt's error code below:

"errorCode":"InhibitRequiredHvNotQualifiedLvLow(20 4)""projectedLvSoc":"Insufficient12VBattery(18)""t otalLvBatteryCapacity":"42""currentLvBatteryDataQu ality":"OK""currentLvBatteryVoltage":"12""currentL vBatterySoc":"75""currentLvBatteryTemperature":"23 ""dynamicPostUpdateSocThreshold":"41""estimatedTim eToActivate":"4200""estimatedTimeIncludingRollback ":"8400""currentDrainRate":"9""capacityNeededForOt a":"21""adjustedAvailableLvBatteryCapacity":"28""p rojectedPostOtaLvCapacity":"7"

So resetting the BMS may solve the problem or if not could it could still be a weak battery. I literally drove it for 5 hours highway on 10/10 and had it set to update approximately 5 hours later 10/11 and the SOC was only 75%. If the BMS is working properly would that indicate a battery problem. I’ve never had the truck even go into deep sleep mode even after being idle for a week at a time. I will reset the BMS and see what happens next scheduled update, thanks for the help!

Yea, reset the BMS and if it fails again, remind me to check it again tomorrow to see what the error code says then.

I got it today (10/21), 6.1.0 as well and I don't have blue cruise or nav, that was removed when my truck was built "CNCTD NAV/SIRIUSXM REMOVAL - 200.00". So I got really confused when I got my notification.

Default Recently replaced APIM

I had a hell of a time getting to this point but after identifying that I haven’t ever received an update and 3-4 weeks at the dealership in total ford replaced the apim and claims I’m all up to date. The truck shows there’s no software updates but when I login to FordPass website it says there is an update. Can anyone help me with figuring out what to do. Do I sit tight and wait or do I need a mongoose?

Vehicle history shows the new APIM was installed 5 days ago. That Sync version you have is very old, but it is past the point where 2021 trucks are known to get stuck in OTA purgatory. The dealer that either replaced your APIM did the PMI afterwards and they seem to have done it right. Note that just because you can now get updates doesn't mean the floodgates are going to open right away and it will start raining updates. All it means is that when your VIN is due for an update based on Ford's crappy OTA process, you will not get the OTA trigger and have a legit chance for it to download and install.

As far behind as you are, I would recommend the Mongoose. It will be a looooooong time before you are up to date via OTA's. The dealer got you out of the locked state, so to update the truck yourself, you are looking at 16+ consecutive hours of updating, but it will be a straight forward process.

is this something that the dealer can or would do? Or is there to much of a chance that it goes wrong. Do you still lease out your mongooses?
