2.6.0 was sent to you twice in May. It failed both times due to problem downloading the files from Ford's servers. Nothing has been resent since then.

Did you go the mongoose route? New APIM? All the above? What’s your secret?

 

I had 4.3.6 and 6.1.0 two days apart. There is no secret, just Ford random update process.

I manually updated my truck over an entire weekend in FDRS a week after buying it used in spring with Mongoose. I can't say that is the solution for everyone but I wanted full screen AA and rear cameras in motion. Alexa was missing too but I don't care about that.

Trucks as far behind as yours won't get old updates sent out often so if you are missing any of the things I mentioned then you might want to Mongoose it. If you don't care and truck is working fine then no reason to mess with it and just wait for Ford to update you eventually.

 

Seems the mongoose route is in my future.

 

The 23 got zapped last night. I probably won’t see any difference.

 

_was going to update my ipc tonight till it said it could take 3 hours..not sure what they could be changing for a 3 hour update.

What does truck say if you go into update details?

You'll probably want to put your truck on a battery charger for a long update like that.
