Installed the latest PCM and ABS updates today on my 2021 Job 1 Powerboost. Thankfully uneventful. 20 minutes start to finish. One DTC to clear. All good.

This morning I saw the download sign on my screen. However under updates it still shows 1.4.0. and no Fordpass messages. The auto update screen no longer has a date but it allowed me to add one. But you can’t select the auto update toggle to on. Thanks
You had 1.6.0 install on 7/19. 1.7.1 was sent to you on 7/24 and is pending to install in your queue. Go to your truck and check for updates. Lmk what it says.

Thanks rugedraw. I just went out and looked. Still says latest update is 1.4.0. No message or indication of 1.6.0. or 1.7.1 on the screen or in Fordpass. I do notice that my auto update date is blank. Auto update can not be selected. The about sync version and revision are blank.

I do have a 2021 job1 build truck. If I remember correctly job 1 trucks have had issues installing 1.7.1. Is it something that can take days?

PTS shows your Sync version is 20262 which is very old. 1.7.1 is an APIM update, and that may be the update that takes you to the dreaded 22301 Sync where OTA's die. The fact that you are getting updates is a good sign, though. The truck has downloaded some of the files needed for 1.7.1, but seems to be stuck trying to download the rest of the files it needs. If you have the ability to do so, I would take the truck for a drive. Let it connect to a few different cell phone towers and see if something while driving triggers the rest of the file updates it needs. Aside from that, there isn't much you can do but pray the OTA gods shine upon thee. I'm curious to see what Sync version this update takes your truck to. These older updates are rare nowadays and I am still gathering data from them, so lmk what happens whether it is good news or bad. That OTA trigger will expire on 8/8, so you still have time for it to go through before it times out and you have to wait for it to be randomly resent.

Can you see if anything has happened after my 2.1.1 update in April? Not sure if I’lve been receiving any communication from Ford. Thanks again rugedraw!

I'd be happy to. Just need your VIN again. Too many posts to scroll through to find it again.

rugedraw - Can you please check my 2022 F150 Lariat Sport 4x4 Powerboost. I don’t think it has updated since I purchased it in Aug 2022?
Thank you. VIN # 1FTFW1ED7NFB41775

Last OTA attempt your truck had was 2.6.0 at the end of May. This OTA was sent to your truck on 5/6 and again on 5/8 while the OTA trigger from 2 days ago was still active. It seems like the 2nd OTA failed because there was an existing OTA for that same update in your queue. The initial OTA timed out after 2 weeks because it was not able to download all the files it needed for the update before the 2 week trigger expired. There is nothing you did wrong and nothing you could have done different to help the update go through. As far behind as you are, I recommend updating the truck yourself.

Thank you. VIN # 1FTFW1ED7NFB41775
Your truck received 4.2.4 in early May. As far as power-up updates go, your truck is fully up to date.

Thanks again rugedraw! Ford sucks at this.
