I have both 22S71 and 23S10 still active for mine. (22S12B had been done back in Nov on mine)

So my current neighborhood has little to no cellular service. I put an access point in my garage just so the truck has connection to Wifi. Any chance I'll get updates without cellular service in my driveway?

 

It is believed that updates update over the truck's cellular network even if you are connected to wifi. I am not sure what would happen in your case. In theory, it should be capable of downloading updates via wifi, it is just unclear if it will. With your VIN, I can check any recent OTA activity in your truck.

 

Thanks! This confirms that they actually did everything they said they did (long story on those 3 visits). They did the wiper arm recall on visit #2 and then the wiper motor recall on visit #3. That last one has probably updated by now.

 

What software update enables the stickers to be used for Pro Backup on Job 1 2021's? My truck tells me I need to connect a sensor when I try to use it (I have a sensor but I really don't want to install it on this trailer). I am trying to get it set up so my wife can help with the boat.

 

Did you try the search feature in these forums? I don't recall the update version, but I'm sure you will find it if You do just a little bit of leg work..

 

I have done multiple searches and apparently, I am searching for the wrong thing. There are dozens of threads where people ask about it and the main answer is to learn how to back a trailer and never an answer to what software or what to tell the service department to update.

Edit: I did find on another site that it looks like it was 2.5.1. I am currently on 4.2.4 and it doesn't work.

 

Rugedraw, my truck has been at the dealer for 10 weeks now. I have not heard anything from them in about 10 days.
Can you check and see if anything new has been done?
