Thank you sir. So does this mean that the dealer didn't install all the updates for me? I never received confirmation of 4.3.2, 4.3.3 or 4.3.5.

 

Case in point: It literally just failed again while I took my truck out to get lunch. Lol

 

Back in October, they installed plenty of updates. I can't tell if they did them all, but it looks like they did and based on the fact that you have such few modules needing updates is a strong indicator that they updated it fully. However, updates come out all the time, and that was 8 months ago.

Attached is a pic of your OTA dashboard. Normally, records are only kept for 60 days, but it is showing your OTA history all the way back to January for whatever reason. The update that failed multiple times is 4.2.2, and the ones toward the top is 4.2.3 (GWM) and 4.2.4 (TCU).

 

ON EDIT: I went back and reviewed my posts. May 2nd was when I got 4.2.4!

So I checked software version on the settings menu and see that I now on 4.2.4, Ford Pass last update noted was on May 2nd, and that was the last of the 3.x.x series. However this week I am now getting an intermittent buzz out the sound system and sometimes when I select cameras while moving. I never notice the front rap around view before, is that something new. Also WiFi is connecting automatically again.

 

@rugedraw would you please check the OTA Dash for any missing or incomplete updates?

I have seen people report weird issues after getting the 4.2.x updates. Mostly phone connectivity issues, but also weird things when putting the truck in reverse and with CarPlay. Coincidentally, 4.2.2 was supposed to improve CarPlay, but it made it worse for a lot of people. When I got them, I had issues with my Android phone with streaming and connectivity. I just started using the wired connection instead of wireless and the problems went away. Not sure what front wrap view you're talking about.

 

You're OTA history seems very clean. You got the 3.x.x updates in the beginning of the year before Ford started sending updates out of sequence, and I see you got 4.3.3 a few days ago. All you're missing is 4.3.5 to be fully up to date as far as OTA's go.

4.3.2 failed for me today for the second time in 6 days. Never got to download a file before it mysteriously just failed both times. Anyone else having issues with this OTA recently?
