I am experiencing a similar issue, but with my passenger side window. If I put it up, it gets to the top, then goes back down about 2 inches. Then I have to put it up one more time before is stays up.

 

I had that issue too during the 4.2.x updates. The cams came back after 4.2.4. It was only a few days between each update, so they weren’t gone too long.

 

I do see 4.2.3 and 4.2.4 installing successfully. PTS shows 4.2.2 failed a bunch of times, but apparently it went through one of those times and PTS just recorded it as a failed updated. It is not the first time I see that happen.

Many people have reported weird issues with the 4.x.x updates, but the next ones you get should clear that up. They usually come within days of each other.

Easy fix. Put the window all the way up. Hold the window up button for 3 seconds and release it. Do that twice. That will reprogram the power window function and should get your window working properly again.

 

PERFECT! Did the procedure mentioned above, and now the window is working properly.

While working with the window, I checked my updates, and see that I am no 4.2.4, but the camera button still does not work while sitting idle. Hoping it comes back soon.

 

mine took a couple of days for the buttons to return.

 

Try resetting the APIM. With the truck running, hold the radio power button and forward seek button together for 10 seconds or until the touchscreen reboots. Wait for it to fully boot, and do it again. If that doesn't work, just wait a few days for you to go through a few key on/key off cycles and it should come back on its own.

 

Job 1 last update was done at the dealer in October '22. I was on 22177. I have the Mongoose on order and lo and behold, I get notified that 3.5.2 just installed!
WTF. Am I going to miss all the interim updates/features? Or can I selectively add 2.7/2.8 etc. with the Mongoose?
Edit - I don't have BC as an option, mainly want the full screen Android auto and moving camera view. According to the Wiki full screen comes in 3.5.3?

 

Ford has been pushing 3.5.2 to trucks that were still owed the older updates. You will not be able to get the updates you are missing with FDRS. There is only one person I know that can get you the older updates you are missing. He would have to remote into your computer once you get the Mongoose to do it. Once you have the Mongoose, PM me and I will refer you to the guy that can help you. If you don't care about the updates you missed, you can go ahead and update your truck the rest of the way with FDRS. The updates you missed include the camera in motion and pro trailer back up assist with the sticker instead of just the sensors.

 

Getting another update today. Not sure which one yet.

 

It's the 22-PU1009 priority update. It is a BCM update that provides "a quality improvement to your trailer position/license plate lights" according to Ford. This update also fixes the flickering headlights issue that plagued some trucks with the quad-headlights.
