Software Updates
Yup. Took the boat over to the west coast. Stayed in Cape Coral and did Sanibel Island and toured that whole area. It was nice. Very different boating customs out there.
Ford screwed you over by sending you that update. You missed out on cameras in motion, pro trailer back up assist with the sticker instead of just the sensors, an no bluecruise (if your truck was supposed to have it). It is unknown what future configuration issues this may case with future updates. The only way to fix it is with a Mongoose. Your dealer can't help.
Same as above. Your truck missed several updates that you will now ever get unless you do it yourself.
Same as above. Ford seems to have given up on the older updates due to early 2021 trucks and is just skipping them.

Is there an accurate list of the features / descriptions that pertain to the Ford Power Up / OTAs that have been released?
Thanks again for all of your help.
Thanks @rugedraw . I received 3.5.3 three days after getting 3.5.2. I want the cameras in motion and the enhanced trailer back up assistance so it looks like I am going to have to bite the eventual bullet on the Mongoose cable. I did receive full screen Apply CarPlay with the 3.5.3 update in addition to Alexa.

Post one has a link for a github page detailing everything, and it has in Excel format linked to the first post if you prefer that.
So after years and multiple tcu and APIM my truck is truck on sync 21146 revision 145. Can anyone walk me through what I need to do with the mongoose cable to try and remedy this and how technical is it? Is it worth doing? This has been a 3 year struggle and I got one the very first edition 21 powerboost platinum's, so obviously I care about having it up to date. Multiple deleaership have been very unhelpful over this whole ordeal. So it's either sell the truck or try this last attempt.

My active drive assist quit working (not even pretending to ever get bluecruise) but I did use it. I also would really like to use cameras at speed as I tow things frequently. Fullscreen Android auto would be really nice as well. Those 3 things are worth it if I can figure it out.

Everything you need to know is here in the first post. It looks a lot more intimidating than it is. FDRS literally walks you through every step of the process as you're doing it. That same thread is closely followed by myself and many helpful and extremely knowledgeable people that provide help in almost real time if you post a question there about the updating process.
Watch minutes 5-11 in the video above. It shows how to perform an APIM update. If you are on these older Sync versions like 22146 and 22177, it will take you 15 hours+ to update your truck. It is more time consuming than it is difficult. There is nothing technically difficult about the process.
Yes, that is an IPC update that was released shortly after 4.2.4, but has been rolling out much slower than the other 4.x.x updates.
Would someone be willing to check my VIN 1FTEW1EP1MKE27312? I just bought a 2021. The automatic updates option is greyed out for me. I don't have full screen carplay available and don't have apply maps turn by turn in the instrument cluster but the truck says it is up to date and there are no updates available...
Thank you!
Thank you!
