Since the 4.2.x updates, my truck no longer stays connected to Wifi. I can connect to my home network like I have always used, but if I leave and come back, the WiFi slider is off, requiring me to manually turn it back on…. Anyone else seeing this happen?

Will go out and check right now.
Edit: My wifi was turned off but I never checked it after my last two updates. I turned it on and cycled power on the truck and wifi came up when I restarted but we'll see what happens when the truck has been off for a couple of hours.

I was recently surprised to find my WiFi turned off without my having done so; it automatically connected to the home network today. I'll pay closer attention.

Mine remains active after two days.

Yep, same for me. It's done it 3 times in a row after having to toggle it back to the on position. Prior to the latest update (4.2.4), this was never an issue.
After this last update my screen will delay with booting up, stays black for a period of time. The ford logo appears like its about to turn on then will go black again, after a few second it will fully come on. Out off all the years with Sync this system has been the best with zero issues until lately.
A few weeks after receiving update 4.2.1 (Late April), my electronics/carplay started to act up a bit. In the pictures below, my carplay is completely blank and will not load (although I can hear audio through it). In addition, my maps won't load and some screens have 'text' in the wrong locations (See phone list picture). I don't know if something recently was tried to get pushed through or if my software is just totally messed up. Has anyone ever had this issue and had any resolutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The next step is to wait for OTA's to come in which now they should, but it will take a looooooong time before you're up to date. As of late, Ford has been pushing out newer updates to 2021 trucks that were missing the older updates and skipping over them meaning features you were supposed to get, you will not get including Bluecruise if your truck has the hardware for it. I still recommend to you and to everyone on here plagued by these issues to get a Mongoose and update the truck yourself.
Welp, a few weeks after my dealer got me out of update hell, I’ve received my first update! Only about 100 more to go and I’ll be set!

i had a failure during 4.2.2 install. crashed apim. lost nav, xm, and had that overlapping text glitch. had my apim replaced, jesse said it still wasn't right, so he sent me the files to install. fingers crossed she is ok now. are you getting a bunch of ipma and ipc DTCs related to the apim?
