I did not. I've been getting updates fairly regularly over the past couple of weeks (after a few months of nothing). My guess is that if you saw that, there was likely an update "in progress" or that failed partway through.

If an update is in progress or failed I would think we should see one of these icons telling us so. Seems to be bigger issues than that.

At the maximum end of the speedo. But only sometimes. Bizarro.

It does that when you are using nav. The tach and speedo get smaller so the upper gauges can split to make room for the turn-by-turn graphics in the instrument cluster. Turn off nav and they go back to their normal larger size.

I figured that out this last Summer. Drove me batshiite for about two weeks. On one trip, the SSR would be where it usually is, at the posted speed. Next trip, it would be, as RickBulotta stated, at the maximum end of the speedo. Finally saw it happen when I used the Nav one day. Odd, since it doesn't do it when using Google Maps in CarPlay. Just the factory Nav.

When I have used Google maps for navigation previously, it didn't do the turn-by-turn in the instrument cluster. One of the OTAs I think is supposed to enable that, and I would assume that would require the same changes to the gauge layout to make room for that display to happen. Again, I do not know this for sure, but will have to try it out next time I am in the truck to see how Google Maps operates. I am on OTA 2.1.0, and it may be that OTA 2.1.1 provides this change....

I just went out and tried Google Maps, and it did not seem to display any turn-by-turn in the instrument cluster. The gauges didn't adjust at all, so I would assume that means that the SSR display would be in their normal, non-Nav location around the speedo dial. I will have to go back and see if that T-B-T display was coming with 2.1.1 or if I just misinterpreted the info.

Edit: i forgot to add that I once again had my WiFi showing the “i” showing it wasn’t connected. This seems to have come after the 2.1.0 update. I tried connecting and it failed. I had to forget the connection, turn WiFi off/on and then re-setup the connection. It is now connecting again to the access point that is 20 feet away with clear LOS. Same issue I had after OTA 1.6.

Based on my testing, the navigation info only shows in the instrument cluster only when using apple map. Google maps never worked for me.

Interesting...I have Android Auto connecting via Bluetooth and the turn by turn arrows shows in the dash just fine. Bought the truck mid-September and the last update shows as 8/26. No updates since then but everything seems to be working ...guess I'm one of the lucky ones

Here's my current sync release
