Since breaking the log-jam, they keep rolling in for me. I got 3.5.2 in the last hour!

I got a 2021 build date 11/2020. I can’t even enable my auto update setting. How screwed am I?

vin: 1FTFW1E80MKD04534

I’ll take any help I can get.

thanks,

Well, I responded to you already on the other thread, but if the dealer isn't able to get it done, you can do it yourself, but it's a process. Let me know how it goes when you take it.

Your dealer needs to try again or diagnose your APIM as faulty and order you a new one.

Or, buy a Mongoose and do it yourself.
They tried multiple times last year, then replaced the APIM. After they did that, it showed 21223_PRODUCT. Is it possible Ford is still showing 20301 from my original APIM? If I get the Mongoose cable do II think I’ll be able to push past this?

Also, what date does it show they tried with multiple laptops?

Send it back for a refund. It's never actually been supported and had a slew of reported issues.

When you check your Sync version on your touchscreen, it says Sync 21223? As long as your truck is communicating with Ford's servers (which is it because when I check your DTC's, your truck is reporting a code every time you drive it that reads "U0554 Invalid data received from APIM"), then your Sync version should reflect in PTS. Right now, the system is showing you are on Sync 20301 on my side.

It was 4/19 where the notes state they tried 3 laptops.

Anyone know if a corrupted APIM firmware would keep me from getting updated? (U3000:41-0B code)

VIN: 1FTFW1E56MFC62112

My local dealership is absolutely completely worthless, I'm going to have to find somewhere else I think.

Anyone know of a dealership with a good service center in the East Texas area?

I am not knowledgeable enough to confirm or deny whether that affects your ability to receive updates. I can tell you that the last recorded OTA on your truck was 1.5 years ago and your truck is on Sync version 21136 which is almost 2 year old software. That is not normal

I've been reading this thread for some time trying to get my 2021 F150 updated with 2.8.1 but after 10+ attempts using all the recommendations (including charging with a 10A charger), I've still had no luck. Has anyone found they need to back out Forscan changes to get the Power-Up updates to go through? If anyone can check my VIN to see if anything strange shows up it'd be very much appreciated...thanks!
