This might be an very elementary question - where do I find Android Auto on my Samsung S22 Ultra? Google PlayStore says it's installed, but I don't see it when I search through all my apps. I have AA in my SYNC because I can have texts read to me and I can answer by voice. So where's the app?

I think it was at some version of Android where it's sort of "hidden". Go to your main "Settings" app and search for 'android auto' there and you should be able to find it.

It means whenever Ford decides, by whatever lack-of-logic they use, they should try and send the OTA update to you again. Being that it's this large, it may be one of the ones that requires you to actually start/approve the update from the truck itself.

(Since Ford broke the APIs that the widgets were using and I don't drive my truck daily, it's a blessing to have access to PTS so I can check if there's an update waiting for my truck. But there hasn't been one since September. Maybe one of these days...)

Yup, it was there looking at apps in Settings. I see have Version 8.6.625054-release, which is what I wanted to check. Now all I need are the 3.5.3 updates for full screen, etc. Thanks!

Version 3.5.3 downloaded to my 2021 XLT Job 2 truck last night. I checked and Android Auto on my phone is version 8.6.625054. It does create the option in the Android Auto tab at the bottom of the screen to go "full screen" but the right panel is occupied by a digital clock. Below this however, it gives you the option to display one of the smaller sync windows. Mine says "Audio" in this shot. This is the Google Map view I currently have, Waze looks basically the same.

This is exactly what mine looks like and I'm sure my last OTA was 3.5.2 on Sep 14 - unless 3.5.3 was installed when the dealer updated all my modules yesterday and on Dec 23.
