I have seen that happen, but the second time a repeat update is sent, it usually fails since the update is already installed. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

Has anybody experienced the above and how to convert the large screen gps back to KM's (metric)? 22 f-150 platinum
I have seen several people report that issue after this update. Try resetting your APIM. With the truck on, hold the radio power button and forward seek button at the same time until the screen reboots. Some people have reported the km/miles issue going back to normal after a few key cycles.

Rolling right along with updates, I just got notice that OTA Priority Update 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM was installed. I had gotten 3.5.4 on Feb 2nd. and 3.5.3.2 on Feb 1st, 3.5.2 on Sept 30th. No battery charger and other magic things for all of these.

Default Hard update of APIM and TCM

The dealer confirmed issues with OTA updates and my 2021. They did a hard update of the APIM and TCM. They said there were a number of updates available for my truck but Ford would only pay them to address the initial issue. Time will tell for the rest. My hat is off to rugedraw for the help.

My SYNC 4 version is now 22087_PRODUCT Revision 415

Glad my insight was able to get you the help you needed. Remind me to check your VIN from the office tomorrow to see what they did. If they did successfully update those modules, you are no longer stuck in OTA limbo. Based on your sync version, it looks like they did it. Now you'll be able to get OTAs whenever Ford decides to actually send them to your truck. You may get one soon, but it may take months to get one. Ford's OTA process sucks.

Also, it is correct that Ford does not pay them to update modules which takes hours unless very specific conditions are met, and right now there is s hold on updating trucks even if they qualify.

No, you're not stuck. Matter of fact, 3.5.3 was sent to you on 1/27 but it timed out on 2/10 before it was able to download the files. Now you have to wait for it to be resent to your truck again.
