3.5.3 was sent to you on 1/24, but like many others, the OTA trigger expired before it was able to download the files. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be resent to you.

 

Well, a first seeing this - took me a moment to realize why the truck wasn’t switching on. All good, only took a few minutes but now I have “Priority Update 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM”

simply says:

I received this update along with three others in the past week. I'm happy to see that the over the air software seems to be working properly now.

 

Glad to hear you're getting your updates. Hard to believe it's been more than a year since we were tracking our vehicles daily from 2022 Build Week 1/24. Now we'll want the BlueCruise update that would give us hands-free lane changing!

I wonder if it has to do with my battery. My auto start/stop never engages anymore.

 

I had the same issue with the auto start/stop and my truck would go into deep sleep mode when I didn’t drive it for more than 5 days. They replaced the battery and now it as it was on delivery.

 

Aside from the trailer lights, it also reprograms the interior motion sensors to prevent the alarm from going off inadvertently. A few people have reported getting this and several other patches shortly after getting 3.5.4.

If your auto/start stop is not working, you may have battery issues. However, that is not the reason this update failed to install. If that was the case, the error would would have clearly stated that was the case. This update has been failing on many trucks and every failure I have seen is due to it having trouble downloading the files.

 

Best $87.33 I have spent on the truck in a while. Too bad it's now $116.83.

Yes, I got that one too last year for about the same price as you. Works well, as does the NOCO charger I also have. Both have charging and power supply modes.

 

Yes, power supply mode is most important.

Which NOCO? I have several of those, but smaller amperage. One is permanently installed on my SXS with a NOCO 15A port plug so all I have to do is plug any standard extension cord into it (and don't have to mess around with taking off the hood, clipping the leads to the battery, dealing with heavy transformers, etc.)
