For S&Gs, I Googled Coolwalk updates yesterday. A response said the latest version to allow true full screen would be 8.8 and to delete the AA cache, close Settings, then go to the Play Store and seach for AA. Did that and sure enough, it said an update was available. Was on Version 8.6.625054 and it did update to Version 8.7.630264 released on Feb 2, but no joy yet.

Good to know. I updated Google Maps on my phone to v11.65.0703 this evening, but haven't checked yet to see if there's any difference in the truck. Not going to hold my breath!

I'm wondering if my truck is failing to do Ford updates... Caught a screen briefly yesterday that said something about needing to power down to save battery? I just had my battery replaced back in December after the started died!
That said, I also noticed I now have a new looking Google map on my screen. But it does not go Fullscreen. So I got some kind of Android Auto update.

Now if I could just figure out why SiriusXM sometimes shows the album cover or not. In fact, as I change channels the cover image will quickly flash than disappear. I know - first world issues! 😆

Looks like the God's have been favorable. Got the same updates and I have full screen Google maps as well. Now if Waze can come up with an update so that it would give us full screen capability as well all would be good.

Drove my wife's 21 Expedition that has Sync 3.4. Somewhat surprisingly Coolwalk looks identical on that platform as well, full screen maps and all.

Your Fordpass isn't working because they are replacing the TCU on your truck; not the APIM. With the TCU off line, your truck cannot communicate with Fordpass or anything. They have not touched your APIM since September when they tried updating it several times and got locked out of it due to too many attempt. It unlocks again after 20 days if I remember correctly. It seems like they are having trouble with the programming of the new TCU and have not touched your truck in 3 days. They probably opened a case with Ford to try and figure out what's going on.
Took the truck back for over a week. They said they did in fact replace both the TCU and the APIM, they also found my active drive assist had a code for a faulty driver monitoring camera so they replaced it. Still did not fix the active drive assist. They told me they were trying to download updates but since they replaced those modules Ford pass will not communicate even after resetting multiple times. Also, wireless app projection will not work so no wireless android auto. They told me they would reach back out to Ford engineering but basically they have no idea why the truck is not updating, now not communicating, and why the drive assist no longer functions. Literally said maybe it will just fix itself lol. Problem is my truck has never received an Ota update so I'm highly doubtful it will suddenly. They offered me 56k to trade. Paid like 82k. It's a platinum powerboost hybrid fully loaded with 13k miles 😬.
