My Bluecruise has expired, and I wondered if it was time for me to Mongoose it.

Also, My Software Version is 22095_ Revision 421, how far behind is that?

My job 1 truck updated to 4.2.1 on May 17th. The only thing that's weird about the whole thing is it skipped a bunch of updates. Especially the one where you can view what's in the bed of your truck going faster than 5 mph. I don't know why Ford could f**k this up so bad and not letting everyone know. Oh well. This issue may affect my future decisions on whether to buy another Ford.

 

Job 1 truck just updated to 3.5.2 on the 22nd.
@rugedraw when you have a spare moment could you check my info please? As far as I'm aware I'm getting updates without any skipping of versions and that I'm just behind.

That software is a little over a year old. Your truck should have all the older software some 2021 owners are missing, so you're good to go as far as that goes. I'd say you are missing 3.5.2 and up. Not sure why your truck hasn't gotten any updates recently. I can't see issues with your truck. Ford just hasn't sent you anything yet.

Yes, Ford either messed up by sending these updates out to trucks missing older software, or they stopped caring and just started rolling it out to give people what they know they can. Who knows? Either way, trucks that got skipped over updates will now require a Mongoose and help from the community to get what they are missing. Not ever dealers will be able to get these trucks what they are missing.

You are on Sync 22177 and were sent 3.5.2 yesterday early. You needed to be at Sync 22192 to get that update and stay in the proper sequence. You truck will now never get the camera in motion feature now nor the advanced pro trailer assist functions. Ford is just screwing all job 1 2021 truck owners completely over.

Is there anyone here in Alberta with a mongoose? Or in Western Canada?

 

My truck is scheduled for service on this matter tomorrow. I hope they check the APIM and replace it. Once I get it back I'll check the status.

I got 3.5.3 update pushed a few days ago. Which version update has the pro trailer backup that supports the stickers instead of using the sensor?
