Well after going through the stuck issue on my 2021 I finally got an OTA on Oct 18 to 3.5.2. But nothing since. Can someone check my VIN to see if you can detect any issues or if I am just on the wait list. I did go through a period of Deep Sleep mode for a week or so. My vin is 1FTFW1E83MFC05246.

Just have wait. Got 3.5.2 on 9/30 and last week things broke loose.

 

Just received PU1009-TLC-CSM last night and it wiped out all my Radio presets and reset the "my View" settings as well as reset my gauge selection. I'm used to having the views reset - but resetting all the Radio is a real PITA!

 

Just got this myself the other day. Other than 'My View', nothing else was wiped out or lost.

 

I was not insinuating that all job 1 2021 trucks are stuck. What I was saying is that all job 1 2021's left the factory missing software that they were supposed to get OTA. As we all know, some of them did and some of them did not and still have not.

I see you got 2.7.3 back in 12/4. Based on your current Sync version, you are past the hump where these trucks get stuck. You just gotta wait for more updates to get sent to you.

You had 3.5.3 sent to you on 1/26. That same day, it downloaded much of the files it needs, but not all of them. Since then, it just hung in your queue doing nothing. The OTA trigger expired on 2/9. There is nothing you could have done to make it go through and nothing you can do now other than to wait for them to send it to you again.

 

I’m sure this was mentioned way back in chapters 1-10 of this 424 page tome, but how can one determine if their 2021 truck was a Job 1 or Job 2 truck?

If I remember correctly, any 2021 built June of 2021 or earlier is job 1, and anything built July 2021 or later is job 2.

 

The reason stated for the failure is server/cloud operation. Basically, it was not able to download the files it needed for the update. No clear reason is ever given as to why.
