Software Updates
I've seen things like this happen several times. An OTA will get sent to a vehicle and install correctly. For some reason, it won't register that way with Ford's servers and the same OTA gets sent out again. The second time, it will show the update failed because it already has that update applied to it. This causes confusion to owners of the vehicles. If you provide your VIN, I can check to verify that is what happened in your case.
Edit: A lot of people have reported 3.5.3.2 as the update, and this one is 3.5.3. Maybe that has something to do it. Looks like I need to research this so I can update the wiki again. Message me your VIN if you don't want to post it so I can try and make sense out of it.

I'll message you my vin if you still want to take a look.
You may remember this. In October when I got 3.5.3 everything worked except Alexa, In November I took it to the dealer and they reinstalled 3.5.3, Alexa still didn't work. So I went in with Forscan and saw that Alexa was disabled, I enabled it and within a couple hours I got the notice that Alexa was ready. I'm thinking Ford saw there was a problem and stopped pushing 3.5.3 through, fixed it and is now starting to push it through again.

Yes, send it to me, please. I just want to satisfy my curiosity.
Hey all,
Wondering if one of you kind souls would be able to check my VIN and see where things are with the updates. I don't recall seeing anything new in a while. I also had my starter die on me about a month ago... This lead to the truck being in the shop for a while as well as disconnected from the battery for a bit.
Just curious if I missed anything.
Thank you in advance!

I found this odd. As posted earlier I got 3.5.3 0ta on Oct 19th, I did have some problems getting Alexa turned on but eventually did, then I got 3.5.4 ota last Friday, then yesterday I got 3.5.3 ota again, and it said,

So it shows they sent you 3.5.3 back in October, but it failed due to a server/cloud operation. Now, they sent you 3.5.4 on 1/6 and then 3.5.3 came after it 4 days later. Basically, they sent you the updates a different order.

3.5.3 gives you full screen CarPlay/Android Auto capability, and 3.5.4 allows you to pair two phones at a time to the truck via bluetooth.
