Your Fordpass isn't working because they are replacing the TCU on your truck; not the APIM. With the TCU off line, your truck cannot communicate with Fordpass or anything. They have not touched your APIM since September when they tried updating it several times and got locked out of it due to too many attempt. It unlocks again after 20 days if I remember correctly. It seems like they are having trouble with the programming of the new TCU and have not touched your truck in 3 days. They probably opened a case with Ford to try and figure out what's going on.

Ford's Professional Technician System, it's not open for public access though. But we can see things about a vehicle in there such as OTA updates (for the past 60 days).

My truck was of the first 21s off the line and has never got a OTA update. Sadly everytime Ford touches it more breaks. They told me it was good to go when I picked it up yesterday.

Wait, you have the truck? I thought it was still at the dealership. Have you tried setting up Fordpass? If they replaced your TCU, then you have to re-connect it.

Edit: I see the TCU passed the self test when they were done. I think you just have to set it up again.

Yes it's home. Per the dealership manager he said the Tcu and APIM were both replaced this week. I tried removing the vehicle from Fordpass and redoing it but it fails as it tried to activate the truck. Also my android auto has completely quit and the wireless app projection rocker tab is grayed out like it cannot be activated. They tried to update the APIM in September and it bricked the active drive assist.

I see no indication that the APIM was replaced. I wonder if they didn't plug the TCU back in correctly? The TCU is bolted on the back of the cab behind the rear seat on the passenger side. Check if all the plugs are in tightly on the modules back there.

This time when I turned it off, the chime didn't sound when I exited. Locked the truck and the lights went off as they used to do. Must have been something in an interim state from the update on the first key actuation after update.... maybe....
I just had a chance to drive the truck since the update. I DO HAVE full-screen CarPlay now. I like it a lot.

One other thing I think I noticed is that the truck seems to be staying in electric mode longer. I was not driving it any differently, but it seemed to be in electric mode a lot more. I will validate this as I am not sure if any of the updated modules would even impact this. It may be wishful thinking.
