That's exactly right. The stopped pushing it out almost immediately after they started and no one knows why nor when they will start pushing it out again.

I have a buddy who we both think his truck is stuck. He is supposed to have BC but it doesnt work so that's what made me dig thru this.

 

2022s are not stuck like some early 2021s are. More likely his Handsfree driving expired and needs an OTA or dealership update to the GWM to renew the map data. Has blue cruise ever worked since he took delivery of the vehicle?? I see the warranty start date began on 12-28-2022 and I am assuming this is when your buddy took delivery his vehicle.

Stand by while I review the VIN on OASIS and I will edit this post when I am done.

EDIT: I don't see any indications that it is stuck. No OTA history (likely due to it already having all the previous updates that plagued 2021MYs) . Have your buddy check his Map expiration date using the attachment below, I bet it has expired. Note that the date format is DD-MM-YYYY . if it is, it's time to take it to the dealership.

 

Thanks!! I thought that 22s weren't stuck either but he doesn't have the option to even equip BC but I didn't think to check the BC expiration date!

 

I have a 2023 that is showing the expired BC date of 10-12-22. It is frustrating because I traded a 22 with everything work (with a heated steering wheel) for the 23 to find I now have a lesser functioning truck.
Is there any point in checking my VIN to see what is happening/happened with updates?

@Buster Douglas I picked ordered mine on 2/26/22 and picked it up on 11/11/22. My Hands Free doesn't work and the Blue Cruise is out of date. The problem is my Gateway Module needs an update. I called my dealer and they agreed and I have an appointment in a couple of weeks.

 

Same as above. The dealer needs to update the GWM.
