You've been steadily getting updates since midway through September. I see you got 2.7.4 on 10/10 and 3.5.2 on 10/20, so you are still missing 2.8.1, 2.8.2 and 2.8.3. However, you are getting updates so you can just wait it out. Get yourself a 10amp battery charger if you don't have one as you will need it for 2.8.1.

No OTA history in 60 days and you are on Sync 20301. You are most likely stuck in OTA limbo. You need either a trip to the dealer, or I can try to get you some files from @Jesse - Infotainment that you can put on a USB drive and hope that it can be fixed that way. Let me know if you want to try try the fix.

Same as above. It is amazing to me how many of these trucks are out there stuck. Ford really dropped the ball on these job 1 trucks.

I will ask for the files. Stand by, as he is busy and I cannot get them right away. The files will come with detailed instructions on what needs to be done. Also, please note it is not a guaranteed fix, and it can take up to a month or more of the USB being in your truck before the update will kick off. Patience is a necessary virtue with this process.

If you don't have one already, get a minimum 32GB flash drive. It will need to be freshly formatted to exFAT and named something short like Sync. Long names tend to cause errors.

Fatty, I am at the same level of upgrades as you are. There has got to be a better way! Rugedraw, if you get these files can you post them somewhere where more of us can access them?

 

It has. I've been updating it myself as I learn things to be 100% accurate. Lol That's not from Ford. Some of those updates don't pertain to F150s, which is what I've been cleaning up on the wiki.

It's not that simple. I get the files from Jesse on a case by case basis. I wish that were the case and so does he, I'm sure. It would have been posted somewhere already. He loves to help, but he has a full time job and and he helps people for free on the side. He is more active on f150 gen14 forum, so after spreaking to him privately, I'm his eyes on here and when I find someone stuck, I ask him for files and send it to anyone willing to try. I feel like I bother him a lot and he's gonna send me to go f**k myself one day. Lol
