All I know is I still have no BlueCruise and I’m sure the free period will run out before it ever works. VIN is 1FTFW1ED5MFB74854 if anyone has the ability to look it up. Nothing has soured me more on Ford than their chaotic, abstruse, and implex versioning and updates. My dash still has me on “22087_PRODUCT rev 415” — but at least I got an update for once.
That update you got is one of the small patches you get before getting 3.5.2. When they replaced your APIM, they did some module updates, but not all of them. I can't tell how far you are behind, but the fact that you got an update is a good sign. There is no way to force updates to come in any faster than whatever random system Ford uses to push them out. Now that you're unstuck, you just need to be patient. That, or invest some time and money and do it yourself.

Anyone else seeing this? My last update was on 10/31, the update icon is still showing up on my SYNC screen. FYI the last update was the second lettered update to prepare for additional updates. In the past when it got an update the icon when away after three days and I never got another update until it disappeared. Some of the updates were immediately after it disappeared.

Second thing I've seen change, if anything is plugged into my inbed Propower the truck will not shift out of park. Unplug the item and it shifts fine. Is this a new change?

I'm rather certain I can't be the only one.
Ford called me back today and is going to put me in touch with the folks who handle their updates (NFI ?). Rep said I have an update in the queue - whatever that means.

Ok my truck is going back to the dealership to find out what is going on with it. I’ve not had an update since Sept 7th and I get that I have to wait until they push them out but I think almost three months without updates that people have been getting for those three months is a little ridiculous. I had the GWM replaced on Oct 4th but that should not affect the updates. I’m starting to wonder if the are doing something to my truck just so I have to keep bringing it back for them to fix because every time I take it to them, there is another issue that’s going on. The last time I told them that they didn’t fix my problem and all I got was “Well, can you bring it back tomorrow?” Needless to say, it’s going to another dealership this time. We will see what they can do for it. Until then can someone check my VIN 1FTFW1E82MFB07129 to see if there is anything that has failed canx or in the que to be pushed to me. Thanks again!

I noticed that my truck has a PCM software update available in FDRS, is there anything I should be aware of before updating the PCM? I know some modules update in 5 minutes while others can take several hours and require a USB drive; I just want to make sure I'm not going to cause myself too much trouble by starting the process.

I have not shown any activity on updates since the failed attempts to load 2.8.1 back in early October. I have been waiting for this campaign to roll around again. Wondering if Ford has paused some of these upgrades?

I've noticed that these older updates usually take a while to get resent if they initially fail. I say this based on not only personal experience, but from checking the status of countless trucks for people on here, as well.

No OTA history in the past 60 days. Also, your truck does not show a Sync version on it, but in the "last recorded state" section in PTS, it shows Sync version 20301 which is a red flag that your truck is stuck. However, I do see that on 11/4, someone (I am guessing the dealer), successfully updated your APIM. This could be why it shows no current Sync version in the system for you. I would wait a bit longer to see if you get any updates before taking it back to them.

Thanks again rugedraw, I will wait for a bit and keep fingers crossed. Seems like I am at dealers at least once a month. Not my favourite place 🙂
