I'm fairly convinced part of my truck's problem was low battery voltage over the winter when I don't drive it much. The voltage dropped, and I fell behind on OTAs. I also think Ford has made some recent improvements that are helping a lot.

I'm going to do a better job of keeping my truck on a charger this winter.

I've put 52k miles since March 27 of 2021.. I don't think my truck has sat un-used for more than 2 days since new honestly.

Any insight i would appreciate
I know they are probably coming but when I read people getting or already on 3.x.x... I kind of feel left out! LOL
Just saw this. Yes, I see you got 2.7.4 and you seem to have gotten a few OTA's sent to you in the past two months. You got the two small ones that prep you for 3.5.2, so your next update will be either 2.8.1 or 3.5.2. If you don't have a battery tender, now is the time to start looking for one. 10amp minimum with a setting for AGM batteries. You will need this and a prayer or two to get 2.8.1 to install once your truck receives it.

I just came back from my local dealership. I had two open recalls fixed and asked them to look into OTA update status for me. I asked about the status of my updates because when I purchased my truck (purchased a used 2021 just over a month ago), the auto-update feature was turned off, with no way to toggle it on. Fortunately, @Jesse - Infotainment was kind enough to download and send me files to load via USB, which corrected the "stuck" update, as now my auto-update is turned on.

So, now the dealer is telling me I'm all "up-to-date" even though I still can not access my two rear cameras (bed and tailgate) while driving, which I thought was part of an OTA update that had been released some time ago. How can I be up-to-date if I'm missing features which should be available on my truck?

Is there any way for a truck owner to check what updates have/have not been applied to their vehicle?

The only was to check is with FDRS. It would show you a list of modules still pending updates. I do not have FDRS; I can only check OTA status. With your VIN, I can check what modules they updated, but I can't see modules still need to be updated.

Thank you for looking into this. As of today 10/19, the dealership was able to "recover the module". They are keeping the vehicle over night on a charger and going after some updates tomorrow.

Somebody on gen14forum just reported getting 3.5.4. Fordpass details said:

WHAT'S IN THIS UPDATE?

Ford Power-Up 3.5.4

Get ready for some powerful convenience.

(Note that you may have already received an earlier version of these updates but this release is an enhancement.)

Advanced Dual Phone

Access two phones at the same time without having to mess with the settings. You could, for example, easily access both phones for incoming calls, contacts, text messages, emails and more.

Payload Limit Warning

We fine-tuned the Onboard Scales function so that vou'll receive a notification if your payload capacity has been reached even if other feature menus are occupying the screen.

Digital Owner's Manual

We made sure what you need to know is in there and easy to find. Go see it at Ford.com/support. in-vehicle or in the FordPass® App.

Ongoing updates like this help you enjoy the best possible version of your truck.
