If you want to spend somewhere close to $600 to do it yourself or you have a great relationship with your dealer, you are at the mercy of the OTA gods.

Like I told you on gen14forum: You cannot unless you invest in the tools to do it yourself

From what I've gathered from participating here since the 2021 model year came out, 2021 owners are hosed unless they have a dealer that knows the issues associated with getting the vehicle up to spec and are willing to invest the time to do it for you. These types of dealers seem to be unicorns in the industry. The option open to you is to make the investment in the proper dongle, computer ,and licensed software from good Mr. Ford and do it yourself after spending many hours here learning from the true experts.

Somewhat true. His truck is not "hosed" in the sense that he is stuck not getting updates, His truck is passed the hump where they would get stuck in OTA limbo. The problem is that Ford does not push out those older updates very often, so he would have to wait months for them to be sent out and hope they install properly when they do send them.

That is Jesse and yes, he was doing that, but that is only for trucks stuck on update 1.7.1. Even then, it was hit or miss....it doesn't always work. You would have to leave the USB in your truck for a month or more hoping the update kicks off. I provided USB files to many members on this forum that Jesse made for them, but that technique will not work for what you are trying to accomplish. If you want your updates now, you have to do it yourself and you need the tool to do it. There is no way around it.

My 2021 has 3.5.2 update. My truck was built Aug 2021.

The update says that I'm getting another one soon.

These have all been returned OTA.
