Waiting for the 2.8.1 campaign to roll around for me again. It has been almost 3 weeks since it failed to load over many attempts, some with the battery charger connected at home, and some on the road with not the opportunity to connect the charger.
I connected the charger again this evening, just hoping....

 

Had truck in at dealership July 2022 to fix issue with grayed out ota slider setting, still no ota updates.missing out on all the cool updates. Also located in Canada.

 

Would it be possible to have my ota update history checked

Well I wish I had some good news but looks like you have NOT received any OTA updates, and appears you are stuck on SYNC build 20301, recommend to take back to the dealership and have them address your lack of updates you likely need to have a module recovery performed and then they can manually update software

 

I was afraid of that, already had it in multiple times, for that issue, afraid they do not know what they are doing. I have lost confidence.

Try a different Dealership. I had a CEL and brought it to my Dealership with just 1 P Code. Well, they could not fit it, then i get home and now i have 2 different P Codes. Today, I went to a different Dealership and they had no problem in fixing it. No more CEL. So try another Dealership. Good luck.

 

I definitely would, but it is the only dealership, next closest one is 7.5 hours away.

 

I got a few OTA updates in October and I noticed that the navigation directions in the instrument cluster completely stopped working on some occasions, or worked but always showed the next turn in 0.0 miles on other occasions. I scanned my truck and the IPC has a U3000 code that clears and returns on the next key cycle. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm pretty sure my last OTA update was 3.5.2

 

My IC nav has always been jacked - the arrows for the next turn are almost always wrong, some are even physically impossible to do. And it does the 0.0 miles ahead when there's 0.3 miles left to go.

That said, it's done this for a very long while -- long before 3.5.x or BC updates.
