Fordpass doesn't always tell you when you get an update. I just got 3.5.2 yesterday and I am still waiting on Fordpass to notify me of the update.

If you have good cell phone reception where your truck is parked, I would turn wifi off. Firstly, not one update has been released that requires a wifi connection to download. More importantly, people have reported issues downloading these updates on wifi if your modem or router has certain settings enabled or disabled. I don't remember the exact details about the wifi issues.....I just remember reading about it some time ago.

Is there a way to determine what OTA Updates your vehicle has received?
I was told that I should have Blue Cruise for my 2021 PowerBoost F-150, but when I tried to enable it, it does not exist where it should be.

Thanks.

If you provide your VIN, I can check any OTA's you have gotten in the past 60 days. I know this thread is VERY long, but many people including myself have had issues with OTA's. Your scenario is anything but rare.

The VIN is 1FTFW1ED3MFB74836

I have to admit it's been rather frustrating continually asking the dealer why certain things are not working, when I know I paid for them.

have a great weekend.

No OTA history on your truck in the past 60 days and nothing pending in your OTA queue. You have a job 1 truck like mine and many others who got the promise of BlueCruise and never got it. Unfortunately, I cannot help you to see what is wrong with your truck, and I lack the tools and knowledge. You are most likely screwed with updates unless you take matters into your own hands and spend some money to get the tool you need to fix your truck yourself. If you are just discovering this thread and the OTA update issues, I feel bad for you. You have a lot of catching up to do to understand what's going on.

I'll see if I can get the guru to look at your truck and I'll report back when I find out more.

Would it be worthwhile to look into getting FORScan?

@thunderousmusic I looked deeper into your truck and it seem a dealer tried to update your APIM four times in May and it failed all four times. This could be why you're stuck in OTA's. I spoke to Jesse who looked in FDRS and all the updates are there for your truck, and the ones that aren't should pop up once some of the updates are applied. He isn't at the office with his main computer to really go in there and see if anything is broken, but based on what I've learned, if your dealer couldn't update the APIM and you have never gotten any OTA's, something is broken. Depending on what it is, he may be able to send you some files that you put on a USB drive, plug into your truck and just wait a couple of weeks for the truck to detect the update and fix it. In case that doesn't work or that isn't the issue, you may have to do it yourself. Start researching FDRS tutorials and get ready to have to spend some money getting the tool you need to do it.

Do not bother contacting Ford or your dealer unless you enjoy wasting your time. The useless campaign that Ford had put out for dealers to update the trucks to BlueCruise expired a few days ago. If dealers were incapable/unwilling to perform these updates when they were getting paid for it, you better believe they aren't going to do it for free. I don't want to flood this thread with more posts, so please PM me if you have any other questions.

FORscan and FDRS are two totally different things. The tool you need for FDRS will also work for FORscan, but a FORscan tool will not work with FDRS. FORscan is to modify little things in your truck like brightening the DRL's, adjusting speedo for larger wheels/tires, etc. You cannot perform module updates with it.

To anyone with FDRS: The update for Sync 22228 was just released. You can update to get Alexa, full screen Android Auto/CarPlay and the new 75th year splash screen.
