Ever since I got the 2.8.3 update and the weirdly named one after, my auto start stop has never worked at all. Has anyone else seen this?

The only time the auto start/stop quit working on my truck is when the battery voltage was low. Maybe the updates drained your voltage a little. Try putting a charger on and see what happens.

Why would anyone complain about that not working? Most hated feature of all time.

Mine did the same thing and I had the dealer replace the battery under warranty

You got one of the two OTA's with no revision number that you're supposed to get before 3.5.2 back on 9/12, but it's just sitting there. It never installed. The trigger was created, but the update files never downloaded. Are you using the truck's native signal or are you on wifi?

Why is that? It's not so bad. With the gas prices these days it might just help a little bit. I actually like the feature but I can use the button to turn it off if I don't want to use it.

My scheduled update kept failing and the option to update is now no longer showing up. Any ideas?

I’m wondering if it kept failing because of a battery voltage issue, but not sure why it would no longer be showing up as an available update. How can I go about finding out?

Yes, 2.8.1 failed numerous times due to the low battery issue. It is recommended to perform this update with a 10amp AGM battery tender connected to the truck. Even like that, it can fail as it has for many people on here. An OTA campaign will eventually expire if it does not go through. It will be sent to you again eventually. You just have to wait....usually takes a few weeks, but there is no way to predict when you will get it again. In the meantime, get yourself a battery tender to be ready for the next time you get it. Some people have reported more success by putting the headlights on the "off" position and applying the e-brake before they started the update, so it does not hurt to try that, as well the next time you try the update.

3.5.2 uploaded this morning while at work. So mine is up to date until the next one is released.

It's on wifi. Funny the last activity according to Fordpass is 29 June.
