Yes, I read this last night and wondered the same thing. I had been using the Scriptable widget created by @tonesto7 but that stopped working 2-3 months ago. Many people were having the same issue as me. It was reported there that Ford changed some things which prevented 3rd party apps from using the portal data. If I understand it, it is the Ford App/Owners site where the data for the widget was being pulled from. Ford may have been seeing performance issues due to more people accessing that site in a way that it was not designed and decided to remove that capability, at least that is my best guess. Too bad as the widget was really awesome.

Thanks

This one was written by @kennelh on the F150gen14 forum. I responded with a link in a later post. He was inspired by @tonesto7 for the MachE.

I use it quite a bit, especially when my truck is in the shop. I can see if the doors, windows and/or the hood is open - info FordPass doesn't provide. Unfortunately, it lost the capability to track the latest OTA update due to the circumstances you describe.

I am stuck on software 2.7.3. I am many months behind and have no idea how to force the latest update to 4.1.1 which was released this month. Can anyone guide me?

I have a 2021 F-150 Lariat Powerboost.

I see you got 2.73 and 2.7.4 this month. You are behind because Ford's OTA process and garbage are synonymous with each other. The next update they will eventually send you is 2.8.1 which requires the vehicle be inhibited for over an hour while it installs. If you don't already have one, get yourself a 10amp battery charger as you will need to have it hooked up to the truck for it to install. Even like that, many people have reported that update failing to install many times before it goes through.

Huh? 4.1.1? Where are you getting that info? The latest update for is pushing to the F150 is 3.5.2. Post your VIN and I can look and take a peek and tell you if I think you have any issues or not.

I want to get a charger/maintainer and was going to choose the Battery Tender brand 3 amp version. Will this one be sufficient enough? rugedraw mentioned a 10 amp. Thank you.

My truck failed the 2.8.1 update back in October early. I am still waiting for it to roll around again. 10AMP battery charger is standing by.
I had it at the dealer for an oil change yesterday and asked them to check the battery condition. They say it is fine.

I got the Pro-Logix 20A unit. It supports all the different battery types and can also run in power supply mode.

Amazon Amazon

I am sure there are others that do similar. This is just the one I use and has done me well.

Good luck!
