no worries, just wondering. I am going to call them tomorrow morning and get my truck back. will make the change and see what happens.

that is good info.. definitely did not make the change right before I went. It was a while ago, got tired of the leaves and crap in the corner of my parking space at work alerting the brake assist and slamming on the brakes.

Ford has the As Built data for every truck. You can download it from the Motorcraft Service website if you want, see here.

Thanks. My real question though is if Ford keeps track of any configuration changes that have been made since 'as-built'.

No idea if they actively track changes to as-built data. My guess is that they don't pay any attention to it unless there's an issue at the dealership with a module.

That would be my guess as well. That was my biggest concern, taking the truck in to have a module replaced / reprogrammed and it not being warranty because they have the data proving the as-built data had been modified.

all fixed.. re-enabled the backup brake assist, and everything came back like drboss21 said.. the only thing that is a problem now is my second key does not work. they said something to me when I picked it up that I would have to bring it back in to re-program. Not too concerned about that since I don't use it...

I haven't done this in a while, but I only recall it doing that if you have Auto Stop/Start enabled. If the truck doesn't shut down @ a stop, it doesn't require the button push.

Either that, or I've been drinking.

Which is most certainly possible.

Dropped mine off today due to the lane centering in BC wandering like a half blind man. Hugging right lane line or bouncing left to right lane lines…. Hopefully IPMA recal fixes it.

Hey, @Livnitup, it's been a while.

Haven't been paying attention, but I don't recall any updates since I got my BC enabled months back. Can you do the needful? LOL. Thanks. 1FTFW1E50MFB04459

The credit for the fix goes to Livnitup. He looked mine up and told me what was going on. Glad your’s came back too though. 👍🏻
