No. 2.8.2 didn’t fix anything. I’m actually becoming concerned. No dealer in my area has seen anything like this and are intimidated by it.
I called Ford of Canada and they agreed to cover a rental while the truck is down but only to a degree. Some little car by the sounds of it. I’m not pleased. I just drove 3 hours to the airport and back with no cruise. I’m sure I’ll get screwed but I’m thinking about trading into a 22 hoping they have all the issues working out in them.

 

Intimidated? What, do they think the truck is going to explode when they hook it up to the diagnostic tool? lol I've seen other members here report similar issues. Hopefully one of them can chime in and report how they got theirs fixed.

 

So far I’ve only talked with one other member that has the exact same issue and his is not fixed yet but his goes back in tomorrow with high hopes. I’ve just been told there’s still a shortage of modules and to be prepared for the truck to be down for multiple weeks. I’m hoping that’s an exaggeration because not having it for multiple weeks is not an option.

When someone gets a chance can they look up my Truck? VIN 1FTFW1E83MFB93857. Last Update I got was June 17th and the last failure message I got on June 27th.

 

You had two failures (June 21st & June 27th) for Power-Up 2.7.4 to the IPC module but it just says it was a generic error code so nothing I can point you to as to why it failed.

 

Could someone please check to see why my last two OTA updates have failed? 1FTFW1E8XMKD79502 All I can see is the failure notice in the widget. Thanks, very much appreciated.
