Software Updates
OTA 2.8.2 for the GWM can cause U10A01:93 DTC to be triggered by the TCU. It's a miscellaneous network error that doesn't affect anything (yet). It appears shortly after the update is successful and may not be immediately apparent. Reference SSM 50829.
This is not a problem now, but may become one for many owners in the near future. The SSM suggests a patch may deploy as early as this month.
The problem is, Ford's OTA updates are designed not to install if a DTC is present. So this DTC needs to be cleared with ForScan or FRDS otherwise whatever patch they release will fail and successive OTA updates will pile up in queue.
This fault can easily be cleared with ForScan or other OBD diagnostic software. I also suggest a TCU and GWM reboot after the DTC is cleared.

At least I was able to tow my boat yesterday without my dashboard going all pinball machine on me. So I guess the trailer module update my says failed to install did actually install.
That is OTA 2.6.0. It won't change again till you get to OTA 2.8.3 which is 22095 and 421. So you are somewhere between 2.6.0 and 2.8.2 on your truck. The version doesn't change with every OTA.
That would explain why my OTA's fail so much. My truck is always throwing out DTC's for something or another. It's rare that I look at my "connected vehicle home" tab and I don't see a yellow triangle.

Oh, absolutely yes.

Ok guys, fingers crossed here. The dealer just called and said they have now installed ALL available updates successfully. You guys know how far I live from the dealer so I would like to see if that is accurate before I get it back. Could someone please check 1FTFW1E89MFB00484 thank you.

They had a hell of a time today with the GWM & ACM but they finally got the GWM updated via CAN and then the ACM was able to be updated. When I ran your VIN in FDRS it still shows the GWM & ACM as available updates so not sure on that when it appears they got them updated under vehicle history.
@Livnitup Is there any way that they could have manually overridden what shows up in vehicle history? In other words, could they have typed in that they completed the update even though they really didn't? And if so, would that explain why it says one thing under vehicle history but still shows those updates as needing to be applied under FDRS? I want to believe they wouldn't do something like this but at this point I think they would almost do anything to get me off their back. lol. Thanks
They can't manipulate what it shows under vehicle history in the FDRS logs but it's strange that those two modules (GWM & ACM) are still showing as available updates this morning when I run your VIN so I don't know if it's a case of Ford's database not being updated with your truck's modules or what. When I've updated my own truck in FDRS, the modules would disappear from the available list after completing the update. You may want to call the service advisor about this before you make the drive.
