Software Updates
Can someone check my OTA history? I know I’m up to date using FDRS but recently saw a failed attempt at 2.8.2 being pushed OTA.

21 PB Lariat non BC. Over last week I've received a four updates including the trailer control recall although done previous at dealer. Latest was yesterday when Ford Pass advised 2.7.3 was scheduled for overnight. I went into the truck and launched it via the center screen rather than wait. According to Ford Pass it was successful.
How are you connecting your charger? Directly to the battery terminals or are you using a ground for the negative?
What does that mean? Do you think that is Fords version control? If so why did it even try to kick off an older version…

I also had 2.7.3 fail three times even though my truck says I am already on 2.7.3 and my OTA's skipped 2.7.2 completely so I don't know what is going on with mine. The error code for this makes even less sense:

Guys, please help me to understand something.
I got my 2022 F150 PB Plat at the end of April this year, and I logged into https://www.ford.ca/support/sync-maps-updates/[my VIN], it shows:SYNC Version: 4.0.22025
And I see you guys discussing here 2.8.3... how does the version shown by Ford website translate into software version being discussed here?
I cannot get any updates, have autoupdate enabled, and the truck is connected to my wifi, but truck says I am all good, no updates available
What am I missing?

It also isn't odd that you haven't received an OTA since an overwhelming majority of the updates so far have been for 2021 vehicles and earlier 2022 vehicles (who mainly just get 2.8.3). I suspect there will be more frequent OTA updates for everyone once the 2021 crowd is caught up.
You have Sync 4 which is your interface. The 2.8.3 and that refers to Power-Up updates, which are not specifically related to Sync 4. It is like having Windows 10 on your PC, but getting patches/driver updates for stuff like your video card. You still have Windows 10 and it still has its own updates, but you get other updates for individual computer components. Power-Up updates contains fixes and new features for your truck, but Sync 4 is still your main interface with the truck itself (like Windows 10). When we get an OTA update that enables Blue Cruise, for example, it has nothing to do with Sync 4, so that version isn't likely to change. But if they make an update to the NAV or something that is part of Sync 4, it may be delivered by a Power-Up update, and at that point also change the Sync 4 version (the 4.0.22025 you saw).

So... how do I check my Power-Up update level?
By the way, to my surprise, the Blue Cruise is enabled on my truck and it even works.
Then you are on at least 2.8.2. The only update after that is 2.8.3 which allows you to use certain cameras while driving. The only way that those of us that have access to checking your OTA status can see your OTA status is if you received an OTA update attempt within the past 60 days because it only stores the past 60 days worth of OTA history.
I am now on 2.8.3 (Sync Ver. 22095) as I have BC & cams at speed. I am assuming everyone else has the same "Be cautious and watch surroundings" message in a black box right in the middle of the backup camera view...? It blocks a large part of the FOV. The high camera above the bed has the message but it is displayed at the bottom of the screen and blocks nothing.
